Research & The Science of Noni

Scientists have devoted much research to discovering the health benefits of noni. While the secret health benefits of noni have been known for over 2,000 years by people in French Polynesia, Hawaii, India and other areas of the world where noni grows naturally and in abundance, noni has been relatively unknown to most of the world. Tahitian Noni International has built its reputation on the soundness of noni research within the TNI labs by renowned and reputable scientists.

Dr. Ralph Heinicke is a key member of TNI's advisory board and has a Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of Minnesota. He lived in Hawaii from 1950 to 1986 while conducting research for the Dole Pineapple Company. His research focused on beneficial enzymes in plants and fruits. Dr. Heinicke's research was published in several scientific journals and his findings led him to look for other food sources that could be used as supplements and that offered substantial benefits. As he listened to the stories and traditions surrounding the noni plant he became fascinated. Turning his research to noni, Dr. Heinicke began to discover the health potential of noni. Shortly after, he dedicated his life to the exploration and development of noni. Dr. Heinicke endorses only TAHITIAN NONI® products. Dr. Heinicke works directly with TNI's lab and continues as a leader in noni research and expertise.

Dr. Anne Hirazumi-Kim is currently serving as Senior Scientist as Tahitian Noni Inernational. She earned her Ph.D. in pharmacology from the University of Hawaii in 1997. Research for her dissertation was noni fruit.

Dr. Mian-Ying Wang, M.D. & M.S. currently works at the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Medicine at Rockford, Department of Biomedical Sciences. A native of the People's Republic of China, Dr. Wang received her M.D. in 1968 from Henan Medical University, Zhengzhou, Henan and P.R. China. Dr. Wang has devoted much time and work to cancerous tumors and how anticanger drugs affect them. She also has studied chemical and hromonal carcinogenesis and cancer prevention (at the initiation stae of cancer development on the molecular level.)
